Mackenzie is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has four years of psychiatry experience treating adults and adolescents in acute inpatient, residential, outpatient, and correctional release settings.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Criminal Justice from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marian University and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of South Alabama.
Mackenzie’s clinical specialties include mood disorders, insomnia, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, gender dysphoria, and post-traumatic stress. She believes in a holistic, evidence-based approach to mental health treatment that is centered on the therapeutic relationship between clinician and client. Outside of the office, Mackenzie enjoys live music, practicing Krav Maga, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
