Elizabeth is a therapist with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Counselor Certification.
She is passionate about helping adults with dual diagnoses and co-occurring disorders. Elizabeth has experience working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression, bi-polar I and II, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, addiction disorders, personality disorders and OCD. She received her training in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient setting.
Elizabeth uses a treatment model that is eclectic, as she believes every client’s needs vary. These models include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She recognizes the client knows themselves best and, as such, her approach to therapy is relational, compassionate and client-centered. Beginning the journey to recovery is a brave and difficult step, and Elizabeth strives to create an environment of trust and dependability.
